Once a year we have a fundraiser for Fireproof Ministries, which is the organization over several ministries, including XXXchurch.com. Over the past 5 years, we have been very successful with a 100-hole golf marathon…so that is what is on the docket for this year.
If you are interested in being a golfer and helping to make this years marathon a huge success, read on, sign the attached commitment form and get ready to have a blast! Are you ready to play 100 holes of golf? No, we are not kidding. Not only will you play 100 holes of golf, you don’t even have to know how to play! We want people who believe in our ministry to commit to the following three things:
- 1. Dedicate Monday May 4th to play golf at Indian Hills Golf Course in Grand Rapids, MI.
- 2. Sponsor yourself for at least $1 per hole.
- 3. Ask every human being you come into contact with to sponsor you with the goal of raising $25/hole…that amounts to a potential of $2,500 each golfer can raise for Fireproof Ministries!
Besides having a lot of fun on Monday, May 4th, 2009 and having the satisfaction of helping Fireproof Ministries raise much needed funds, you will receive the following:
- 1. Lunch and continuous refreshments.
- 2. Plenty of golf balls to smack around.
- 3. A tax write-off for any donated funds.
- 4. Appreciation ceremony at lunchtime.
- 5. A chance to win a fabulous vacation and other prizes.
